Lesnoy & Rent Center

The Lesnoy Terminal WDC was designed in 1995 as a modern storage facility to provide high-technology cargo storage and processing services. The terminal's design and logistical structure - developed by the German firms Logma and Paul Gunter - ensures uninterrupted operation and acceptance and release of cargo on a 24/7 basis. The warehouses have first-class German equipment, an automated warehouse management system, numerous automatically controlled gates, special facilities that palletize the cargoes, and onsite automatic backup for all essential systems. The terminal has its own boiler installation, diesel power-generation plant and independent telephone networks (9 city lines and 30 COMET digital lines). These resources ensure a temperature regime that meets the most stringent requirements (even for the storage of medicines), an uninterrupted supply of electricity, uninterrupted operation of all warehousing systems, and reliable communications at all times.

In 2002, the Rent-Center Terminal was built on the land adjacent to Lesnoy Terminal. Rack/shelf storage technologies which have been successfully used at the main terminal are also widely employed at the new operational facilities. One specific feature of the new facility is its large assembly area, which can meet any customer requirements related to the picking and sorting of goods. The facility can accommodate oversized cargo and it has a mezzanine floor for shelf storage and repackaging.
