Khimki
The project of the Logistical park ItellaNLC-Khimki is developed from optimum cost relationship in the "storage-transportation" system. The park territory is provided with a convenient vehicle access from Vashutinskoe, Mezhdunarodnoe and Leningradskoe highways, the park is also linked with "Khimki" metro station by the railway branch. The terminal has warehouses for shelf, floor and small-meshed storage, customized pharmaceutical warehouses and open planning office premises. Temporary storage warehouse, customs warehouse and customs terminal will allow to most effectively process the cargo traffic delivered in Moscow from Northern Europe. The park territory possess a large configuration area, where up to 72 tracks can be processed simultaneously, and a spacious parking place for 460 cargo vehicles. The Logistical park ItellaNLC-Khimki satisfies international security requirements: the territory is supervised 24 hours a day, there are video surveillance and fire-fighting systems; all cargos delivered to the park are insured at the expense of the logistical operator - the ItellaNLC. ItellaNLC-Khimki construction began in May, 2002 at the site with the total area of 12.7 ha, located on Leningradskoe highway, 7 km from Moscow Ring Road. In spring, 2004 the first construction stage of the storage complex with high-level shelf storage was opened. The Logistical park ItellaNLC-Khimki is a new type of storage terminals organization in Russia. An identifying feature of the park is the fact, that it provides not only relevant storage, but the whole complex of logistical services, allowing any difficult cargo processing up to ready-for-sale products creation.
