No, there is no price list. ItellaNLC tailors its technology to the needs of each specific client. Different customers have different figures for storage and turnover of inventory, different product lines, and varying complexity in operations. Depending on these factors, the staff and technical resources necessary are calculated and personalized rate quotations are provided.
Is it possible to pay for the facilities being rented Ex-Post?
This is discussed for each specific case. However, we provide the option of establishing a monthly reserve for facilities in our contracts. As a result, ItellaNLC ensures that it will perform its obligations regarding warehousing and the client can rest assured that there will be facilities to increase storage of products as his business grows.
Is it possible to receive services 24 hours a day, seven days a week?
Yes, if so requested by the client.
Can office space be provided?
Renovated, modern office premises are provided for clients. The rooms are 15 or 20 m², and generally accommodate client employees (supervisors for 2-3 people) who regularly interact with the warehouse.
Can licenses be obtained for storing specific categories of products?
ItellaNLC has a long history of successfully working with pharmaceutical and alcoholic beverage companies on licenses.
How long do contracts last?
Our standard offering is one year with subsequent renewal. Clients are welcome to conclude contracts for a greater duration, which enables us to account for and meet the needs of the client as his business grows.
Does ItellaNLC manage proprietary warehouses for clients?
Yes, ItellaNLC has experience in managing third-party warehouses.

Warehouses
Do you rent out your warehouses?
ItellaNLC provides safekeeping services. In rare cases, sections of our facilities may be rented out, only as part of complex projects that primarily consist of providing safekeeping services.
Are your facilities your own or are they rented?
ItellaNLC provides logistics services in Class A terminals that are owned by the company. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, two terminals are operated in rented facilities (on Leningradskoe Shosse and the Utkina Zavod logistics park). Outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, ItellaNLC currently provides safekeeping services in Class B rented facilities. This solution has allowed us to establish our business processes in these areas prior to the opening of our Class A terminals that are currently under construction.
How many vehicles can you process simultaneously?
We can simultaneously service 40 vehicles at Rent Center, 12 at Lesnoy, and 54 at Khimki.
What temperature levels are maintained in your facilities?
The typical storage temperature in our warehouses is 16-18° C in winter and 18-21° C in summer, at 65-70% humidity. There are a number of warehouse zones where temperature and humidity settings are strictly maintained. At a client's request, we can provide a refrigerator with a freezer and a cooling chamber at 15-16° C.
Do you use a bar coding system?
Yes we do. Each pallet that enters our warehouse is bar-coded. This way, we can retrieve information on the inventory at hand for each client from our computers in real time.
Do you accept goods by weight?
Yes.
Do you provide piece-by-piece acceptance/delivery?
Yes. This has become more and more common, since all of our warehouses operate as distribution centers and the minimum delivery unit from the warehouse is a resale unit at a retail store.
What inventory system do you use?
The majority of the ItellaNLC warehouse facilities use an Advantics warehouse management system developed by the German company PSI (www.psilogistics.com), which has more than 15 years experience in developing and selling various systems for automating warehousing.
The software suite consists of two coupled specialized systems. The first system (WMS-Warehouse Management System) handles strategy for acceptance, distribution, and delivery of products, real-time shipment tracking, delivery expediting, and preparation of tax documentation. The second system (TSC- Truck Control System) handles dispatching control of transport instructions for pallet trucks equipped with radio receivers and scanners to optimize pallet truck traffic within the terminal. Itella uses Logius at its facilities. The system will be integrated with WMS during 2009.
How often is inventory taken?
We reach an agreement with each client on the frequency of inventory procedures. A complete inventory is taken at least once every six months. A spot inventory can be taken on one or several units (SKUs) stored at the warehouse much more frequently. A spot inventory is necessary if discrepancies are found when reconciling the ItellaNLC and client databases. Acceptance and shipping are then blocked for the one unit that needs to be audited and we work with the client to find the error within 24 hours.
Do you provide waste disposal services, and if so, what method is used?
Per arrangement with our clients, we provide waste disposal services for products by hiring specialized companies. The method of waste disposal is determined by the client.
Are there dedicated data lines in your warehouses?
All of our warehouse sites are equipped with fiber-optic communication lines. You will have no difficulties in using the Internet and syncing electronic data between the WMS and the client's corporate system.
Transport
Do you make deliveries in Russia outside of the major cities?
ItellaNLC makes deliveries throughout Russia using all modes of transport.
Do you provide distribution services from warehouses to neighboring cities?
At this time, distribution services are provided in Moscow and Rostov-on-Don and we are planning to provide these services in the other cities where NLC has branches (Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara)
Do you make deliveries of package cargo?
Yes, ItellaNLC delivers package cargo internationally.
Do you make deliveries to retail chains, and if so, are there restrictions?
We make delivery to any major retail chain location within the Russian Federation.
Do you use your own or hired transport?
ItellaNLC uses both its own fleet (more than 150 vehicles) and the services of transport contractors.
